Well the results are in.
How hard can it be to simply type Yes, No or Don't Know?
FFS after 10 pages of keyboard warriors, quitting the site, out right racism towards refugees, out right racialism towards Gingers, calling people idiots who think differently from you, Gaza conflict and voting depending on what team you support I finally got out of it what I had looked for.
I can update it in future if need be as more people decide however as it stand the results for the JA referendum are in.
With Don't Knows
Yes = 64%
No = 27%
Don't Know = 9%
Without Don't Know's counted
Yes = 70%
No = 30%
1 of the Don't knows is swaying towards yes but not a confirmed Yes yet.
1 chancer who isn't eligible to vote tried to sneak in and got booted. Lifetime bar if he tries it again. No names though eh Curly
Obviously I can't account for everyone's entitlement to vote.
Now one notable Tory never commented so assuming SA was to bore us all for paragraphs before saying No let's just count him as a No.
The altered results would be
With Don't Knows
Yes = 62%
No = 29%
Don't Know = 9%
Without Don't Knows
Yes = 67%
No = 33%
Updated twice after late entries

The only way Salmond can "win" the next debates is by expressly saying what his plan b is, even though we all know what it is. Because as soon as he does then it takes the wind out of their sails.
Just as a point of interest by the way, because I'm sure it was in this thread that expenses and hotel trips were brought up (although it might have been another thread, I can't be bothered going back to check), I see that expenses in the undemocratic House of Lords has gone up by £4million since the Tories came to power.

Personally I wouldn't be comfortable with walking away from debt for a number of reasons, not least that we'd be landing that on the rest of the UK and quite frankly we'll still need good relationships with them. Plus I think it's morally wrong to be honest and given that I want independence for social justice reasons I think it would be poor to start off on such a footing.

The only way we'd be justified in walking away from the debt in my opinion is if WM tries to deny us our share of the assets of the UK. If that's the case it's justified imo. However, I wouldn't agree or support any other way in which we walk away from our share.

Dunno how the fvck that happened - my 4th paragraph above was meant to be my 2nd! That's dyslexic even by my standards!
That wouldn't have happened in a free and independent Scotland.
