Learned today that Nigel Gibbs has left Leeds. He's terminated his employment claiming breach of contract over his treatment by the club.
Gibbs says the matter is "in the hands of my legal advisors. It is inappropriate for me to make any further comment."
Cellino claims Gibbs wanted a settlement but asked for too much cash. Also claims he didn't want to work for Hockaday. It's headed for court

This looked on the cards for a while now. Shame.

It is a shame, however it looks increasingly likely we will see an Italian academy influence. Don't be surprised if we get in some continentals to take over. Makes sense if u ask me, also fits in with Cellinos seeming love of foreign players from the continent.

Gibbs is one of BM's men, good riddance; did sod all while he was here any way.

Apparently he was the one who recommended Hockaday to Cellino in the first place.

I think employment tribunals (or their equivalent in these cases) will be a regular occurrence under Massimo
We all knew that would be the case

If I had the choice I would have Gibbs as coach rather than Hockaday.
Don't know what it us but there's something about Gibbs that's appealing.
Big loss today, everyone should be wearing black arm bands!
