Lavezzi?

There are rumours that we've made an £18m bid for the 29 yr old PSG forward.. £18m for a 29 yr old? Well, he's very mobile and a very good forward and we desperately need another forward.. Yes please

how many people are saying 19 millioon for a 29 year old is too much, but think you should hve got more for a 27 year old Suarez??

the fact is in todays market, 19 million for Lvezzi is a very very good price, or would you rather pay 20 million on an unknown Majkevic (sp)

I have never seen him play as a striker nor felt he looked like he could when I have seen him, that's the issue I have.

Probably because you've seen him play at Napoli where he played either as a wide left forward or in the hole, with Cavani as main striker. Or you've seen him play at PSG where again he plays either on the wide left, or behind Ibra. Both team play a front 3 normally.

You don't think he could play in that position? You know more than the managers he's played under then.

I'm not saying he's the ideal man to bring in, but if BR has chosen him then he must like the flexibility and adaptability of the player.

I would prefer we spent money elsewhere to be honest, but if we do get him, I'd be happy that we've bought a good footballer.

I'm not saying I know more than the managers he's played under. In fact I never knew any manager had expressed their opinion that he could play as a striker or played him there at all. I'm saying from when I've watched him, he's never looked like a striker.

I think he could play on the shoulder. His movement is good and he is an intelligent footballer. He's also a bit profligate in front of goal but I'd fancy him to hit double figures with ease.

I think think he plays in the same areas as Lallana though and I'm not sure there's legs in this story.

I reckon if we do get a striker it'll be late in the window when clubs have to raise funds for their signings, etc.

Jovetic was barely fit for not even a quarter of the season starting with pre season. There was absolutely no way he would force himself into the side when negredo , Aguero & dzeko were all on fire at different times of the season & he wasn't fit. I just hope he can kick on from the good pre season he has had & we can see how good he really is. Pellegrini rates him very highly & has already rebuffed all enquiries.

Yeah ok then, thanks. Let's buy Jovetic.

it wasn't a wind up so chill. It was a genuine response to a comment without back . Sarcasm & lowest form???.

I'm not on the wind up either. I want to sign Jovetic.
