And was "concerned" that we couldn't secure the services of the player, whilst ignoring all reason as to why it isn't 'club policy' that has meant we "lost" him.

Yeh, I couldn't even be bothered to comment to be honest. Sadly we have a few posters on here that seem to love nothing more than to criticise the club that they support. They hardly ever post anything positive, instead jumping on everything negative - real or imagined.

The reason we didn't sign Verm is because Arsenal would let him join us if Smalling went the other way. That obviously didn't suit us, so what is the problem?
