Charity footy tournament

today the Leicester city 606 boys toook part in a charity footbal tournament at Heather St.John FC near Ibstock.
There was a large Charity fun day with hog roast, bungee runs, gladiator's and bouncy castles all in aid of Help for Heroes and Loughborough Women's Aid. with alot of help from DHL


The Dungeon Master, glorialesterfan, Jackubu, Izzet the Legend, LobsterPecks, FoxesTom8, amongst others participated!

Dungeon's A team won group C winning twice and drawing once, (2-0, 1-0 ansd 2-2) with FoxesTom top-scoring 3 of the goals.

Glorialesterfan's B team sadly couldn't emulate the A teams efforts, we drew twice and lost twice, (0-1, 0-0, 1-2 and 1-1) and therefore couldn't precede in the tournament.

Dungeon's team we beaten by a last minute breakaway goals in the Quarter finals.

After we were both out of the tournament we had a game between the A and B teams.
The B team came out on top winning this game 4-2. ( I scored the 2nd, not bad eh, for a 47 yr old haha!)

we then descenfded on the gladiators bouncy castle and had a bit of fun taking it in turns to knock each other of the podium.s.

It was great fun and a brilliant afternoon was had by all.

finally I have been contacted by the organizers who have told me that already over £800 has been counted up so far, and raised for the two charities!
