Wardle absolutely.

Cook did a lot wrong, Mansour would never have bought us without him though, that's why I said him.

Possibly melton though I seem to remember Frank was a friend of the sheik.

Frank is a crook, the fact he was the catylist for the ADUG takeover was more down to outrageous fortune than anything else.

I used to work in Thailand for an insurance company. The corruption charges against Thaksin were politically motivated. Not to say he had some dodgy dealings, but in Thailand that's the norm. Do you remember when someone from the Adv group attended a cup tie we lost against Spurs? Thaksin set up the sale to Adg and made a bundle from it. As a politician I have a lot of sympathy for him - he has done a lot for ordinary Thai people.

I remember reading not long after that we were literally hours away from folding, I'll try and find the excerpt again.

Was that the one with Gary Cook a bit after he left the club?
Pretty interesting that one, although I never liked the guy (for obvious reasons) he fecking nailed that sails pitch to AGUG, no matter what anyone else says we were not lucky lottery winners, other clubs were on the table and Cook got them to select us.

One of the main complaints against Thaksin was that he bought votes from poor people by giving them bags of rice... if that is all it takes to buy votes in Thailand the other parties need to take a long hard look at themselves x

We were a better prospect than other clubs.
