Hock needs to stand up

Hockaday bought into this system, why should he suddenly reject that which he is happy with?

Give it a bit of time sniffer. Cellino and Salerno have their ways, and Hock is the coach of what they bring in. I am sure all of them are well aware of the defensive risks - especially if we get an injury this weekend, which some teams my try to engender.

I don't think Hock needs to concern himself about "walking away", and threatening it will only see him gone before MC can say goodbye.

We're not suffering yet. And the final squad is not yet complete, there will be more.

I agree with a lot of what you say there LST but why do we always have to wait 6/8 weeks into the season before we have some sort of team we're happy with? surely the closed season is the time to do your business!! I know some will say the takeover etc... but its the same every year MOT

I'd say because he's not looking at this season, but next.

He in't working on the same timeframe as us - he has a long-term strategy to look at 2015/16, while we always look at the fun of the coming season. He told us this when he came in, and there seems little he has done to change anyone's mind.

Frustrating in the short term, but if it comes off in the next few years, he will get the keys to the city. Until we get relegated again.

Patience is a virtue...!
