This is the Wenger of old

El Pais claim that Manchester United offered 19million for Vermaelen but Wenger point blank refused to do business with Van Gaal.

Its becoming more and more clear how hamstrung Wenger was during the debt repayment years....

Seeing his best stars leave to the likes of City, UTD, Barca etc and not being able to do anything about it...

All you plastic WOB just think about it for one second...

Why time after time the same kids on here come out with this no money lie,Wenger not only had money but spent it,

Yeah, okay. It is just a coincidence that since the sponsorship negotiations we have started spending big.

We were in profit on transfers every season.

If we had gone big on a couple, plus the wages, we would not have had a squad able to compete.

well lets see what happens this season, it's all up for grabs and Wenger has this new found power so lets see if he can really improve on 4th and hold our own and even beat the top 3/4.

If he had no offers abroad who knows what he would of done, the thing is no one would of really cared had he sold Vermaelen to United RVP on the other hand.

Why are the clown AKB like the OP so obsessed with making fools of themselves, thinking that people wanted Wenger out solely on our transfer policy.

Now that we are spending money, suddenly all the trashings from our rivals should be forgotten, along with the poor tactics, playing players out of position, no tactical flexibility, persisting with average footballers, yea lets forget all that.

The irony of it all is the clown OP names his article 'this is the Wenger of old'. Wouldn't that be an admission that Wenger now is different to the winner who first came to the club, and thus meaning the WOB are right to want him out?

Or is that too much for you to take in?

Cos he just signed a new 3 year contract. What's the point? He is here to stay whether we like it or not.
