He has already dismissed our title hopes and called Alexis poor and average, he also said Cesc is better than Özil, what a loser. He also said he never loved Arsenal and he was only after money and when City offered more, he couldn't wait to jump ship, he also said Clichy and Sagna moved for cash. I never hated him but now somebody show me where I can get hold of that rejected bitter Frenchman.

Handicap simply means you are restricted from doing something. As in horse-racing for example. Nobody's having a go at disabled people, you divs.
----------------
When you call someone 'a handicap' it clearly refers to them having a physical/mental disability. That's been the intended meaning of the word historically. You can have a handicap (as in golf/horse-racing etc.) but to be described as 'a handicap' is completely different.

No it isn't. Look up the definition of handicap and you can apply it to an individual without meaning they are handicapped in the "disabled" sense.
More faux outrage on this site.

OK, please read the original comment and explain to me in what context it was used. It was clearly used as an insult. I don't want to lecture on grammar but if you describe a person as 'a handicap' (i.e. the noun handicap, not the adjective handicapped, nor possessing a handicap), then it can only have one definition. Maybe you don't know the poster but it's well in character for him.
I'm not outraged, it doesn't really affect me personally, I just think it's worth pointing out that it's not alright to insult people that have no control over their condition, in the same way that we accept that racism is wrong.
