So I've subscribed to the gym again two years after suffering a hairline fracture on both my arms, just below the elbow. Don't ask how I did it, it's embarrassing.
Anyway, I started going to the gym again on Friday. I was a little sore waking up on Saturday but still went to the gym again and did more bicep curls.
This morning I planned to go again but woke up and couldn't even put a t-shirt on. I can't straighten either arm without feeling pain. I have to keep them at 90 degree angles. I've resembled a T-Rex all day
Is it serious? Will I need to take a trip to my GP or is this something that will subside after a few days?
I'm unable to extend both my arms.

Its called DOMS and its the best feeling in the world.
I did such a big legs session on Monday I couldnt walk properly Tues/Wed and struggled to keep balance when on one leg.

Are you sure? I've been reading the interwebz and it might also be inflammation of the tendon. I hope not, seeing as I'm on a 6-day workout schedule.

It will be fine next time you go to the gym, stretch out more afterwards though and drink water to decrease DOMS

Three days in - been taking a lot of painkillers and it's slowly starting to subside. Thought I'd done some serious damage, thank god.

Also if I remember ginger is a good way to stop this stuff.

Cheers Edin
I'm going to rest up till Saturday and wait until it completely heals.
I'll probs start on lower weights and slowly work my way up to lower the risk of injuring myself again.

As long as you can still toss the blue veined yoghurt pumper I wouldn't worry about it
