Nice to see Clayton playing for you guys today and he totally coped with West Ham's quality and experience in the centre of midfield and outplayed them at times. Liked him on his brief visit to the posh last year and thought he did well when played but was unlucky to sign at such a difficult time for us under Gary Johnson.
One of my mates at uni is a leeds fan and i watched your game with him against the swans last year when you were totally outplayed. I asked him at the time why you haven't matched up with the swans formation and played 3 in the middle, his response 'johnson is suspended and we have noone else'. Why on earth did grayson allow a player like clayton to go out on loan when he was suitable back up? I know it's in the past now and many might say his loan spells at us and the dons have helped develop him into the player he is now but just maybe you could have made the playoffs.
Adam Clayton and a missed opportunity??

We had other back up, unless we had other injuries that I'm forgetting about. We had Howson and Kilkenny as central midfielders. Then Snoddy and Gradel on the wing.

Clayton was poor last season for us hence being sent out on loan, he's much better now.

After conceding 5 and 7 a possible backlash may be likely from the tractor boys against you next week especially as they have no cup game midweek. So far we have certainly exceeded my low expectations after selling Mackail-smith and our last performance up in the championship. We've scored in every game so far and as with the millwall away match midweek never know when were beat, but defensively it would be nice to tighten up (no clean sheet as yet). Got a young squad and the manager gets the team playing with confidence so i hope we can comfortably stay up and prove all those bitter Hudders fans wrong.

as was said, clayton wasn't this good last season or atleast didn't show it, to be fair i think swansea would've beaten us if we fielded lionel messi last season, they were awesome
as you peterborough, one of the forest lads i know said your game was boring because it was so one sided - he must be mad, that was one of the best games i've seen in a long time and i look forward to our games, we're both dodgy at the back and great in midfield and upfront, so a couple of 6-6 draws could be on the horizon
last thing, i remember you winding huddersfield fans up on 606 last season, but as i got banned from 606, i couldn't join in - so i guess i'll see you on their ja606 board sometime soon

Yeah had some fun winding the Huddersfield and Wednesday fans up last season. Our win at old trafford after their pitch invasion in the playoff semi win over bournemouth and to see all those 'Believe' shirts chucked at the end along with the empty seats was priceless. As with Wednesday, decided to leave them alone because with Megson in charge things may be getting suicidal in the blue half of sheffield.
