He's cut the wage bill by clearing out some high earning dead wood, players you wanted rid of. He's replaced them with players that are younger, players happy to accept a lower wage but with more innovative bonuses. That's not paying peanuts, that's performance related pay. Had he thrown money at players you'd have moaned about that.

You will say anything to discredit some of the players he's brought in, remember your Silvestri's Wonky Eye thread..! Is anyone with an eye problem there to be ridiculed by you...? I wonder how many of our posters may have an eye condition you could find amusing...?

It would seem a good idea to pay as little as possible as the club is losing money.
As you ,jonty, constantly harp on about FFP,do you not think that cutting costs makes good sense?
