This may be a bit left field but since RM have purchased Kroos, and Modric a regular starter what are the chances that we can snare Illarramendi...as a DM.. I know RM only recently purchased him and paid £30mil for him but given his situation is there any hope?

Hahahah --- Yeah I kinda know what you mean, but Im dead against this midfield destroyer thing, all the top teams dont have one, United, RM, Barca, Juventus... they either have a box to box a la Pogba or a midfield maestro a la Alonso, Carrick, etc
We have Diaby who wenger had ear marked as a long term successor to Viera ..and an ageing Arteta

Haven't watched him play but from what I have heard he is more of Alonso type of player with massive potential? Also being part of new Spanish generation of player..He must be technically good like most.Sounds like the type of player we need..but will Real sell?

I actually had this thought several weeks ago when Kroos signed.
