OK, first off, i'm more than happy with the players we've signed so far. Only time will tell but all the players we've signed appear to be an improvement on the players that have left.
Problem is that, while I have faith in Ideye, we lack players who can supply the ammunition.
Biabiany would've been ideal but I suspect we need to move on from him now and look at other targets.
My biggest fear is that Ideye is left isolated up front with no support or creativity coming from midfield be it centrally or out wide.
We need to build our attack around Ideye not and not expect him to perform miracles on his own.
We've still got time to fill in the missing blanks but i'd hate all our good work in the transfer market to fall short.

Incidentally, there's a rumour going round on Twitter (unreliable I know) that we've offered Liverpool £7 million for Assaidi.

I don't think service into Brown will be the issue. Brunt and Dorrans will provide plenty of opportunities. I think he has been bought in as a player that can plough a lone furrow upfront and should be comfortable creating his own space and chances. Our problem is we don't have another striker who can do the same.

Legacy I disagree, I feel berahino is able to fill that role he just isn't ready to do it week in week out. also we still have big vic who offers us something completely different and can chip in with goals. I do agree we need another striker but we're not as desperate as we were this time last year.

We need at least one winger.
I don't want to see Ideye being made a scapegoat for our lack of goals when the problem is likely to be with a lack of supply.
Neither Brunt or Dorrans are out-and-out wingers. In fact, you could argue we don't have any specialist wingers at present, just a few players who can play there if needed.
