Leeds United head coach David Hockaday is planning to keep youngster Dominic Poleon in his plans rather than sanction a sale. A summer switch for the 20-year-old striker has been mooted as he faces stiff competition for places at Elland Road

Hockaday has no say on sales or purchases. I don't think Sky have grasped we have a coach not a manager

Also heard from Hay that Southampton have stopped their interest in Byram. Hope so.

Actually, it has been confirmed that Hockaday does have a say on transfers.

In what way Pro? I haven;t seen anything other than he gets "his say", but the bottom line is that Cellino makes all the decisions. Then he talks about how Hockaday is like a baby. Not a good trait.
But if you have seen somethign else, I would be interested

Hockaday himself in an article the other day said he has an input.
Obviously he could be lying, they are all liars to some remember
He said he identified positions that he wanted filling and the type of players he wants in and he has said that he doesn't want others to go. He may not be the leading light in these deals but he has an input.
I reckon between Cellino, Salerno and him they are doing a reasonable job.

That's what I saw Eric. I don't see it as having a say in terms of any kind of vote. Especially after what Cellino said about his previous input, lol.
But I am happy with progress so far, particularly since the defeat last week. Let's see if hockaday can pull them all together
