I think the big games issue was a lot of things. Primarily, our lack of a mobile CDM hurt us, with Arteta being unable to effectively shield the defense in those games. Tactically our big mistake was trying to rectify the deficit too quickly and too strongly, becoming far too attacking too early. This led us open to a lot of early goals. After three it begins to become meaningless.

It wasn't our defenders really, but the team and the tactics.

Seriously, the contradiction in you lot is laughable.
We set up to score loads of goals and sacrifice our defence and our defenders are supposedly carp. Arsenal do it and it's not that they are carp, it's because of the system.

You can tell when people don't watch a team play and thus have no idea how good certain players are. If you watched Arsenal every game you would know that Koscielny is class, and for that matter Gibbs is too. Gibbs is one of the most underrated players around.

Firstly, your logic is simply asinine. So
you "didn't finish above us because of one player", but if you brimg in one player you will definitely finish above us?

And your attack will still be as potent "as ever" will it? "As ever" being that one season where you "Dared to Dream"? Or the season where you lost one of the best players in the world after nearly half a decade of midtable mediocrity?
