Fabregas performances in preseason

Well first of all Mata only played 2 full seasons plus a very scrappy in and out of the team 3rd season before he went to United in January and therefore did not stay long enough to achieve much at Chelsea.

Obviously in the short time he stayed with us he did very well though.

But if Fabregas stays with us for 5 or 6 years then yes I expect him to achieve more for and at Chelsea than Mata did.

This is off topic but do you think Mourinho will ever win the champions league with us?

The cl is no different to any cup comp. Last year a save at one end lead to a goal at the other. Had the save been a goal we could very well have gone on to the final.
As with Bayern anything can happen in a final.

We will go to the business end again but luck plays a bigger role in a cup than league.

I have every confidence that Cesc will out achieve Mata.He will have a lot to prove to certain people in Barcelona,I think he will be here for a lot longer time as well.Mata was/is a wonderful player,but Cesc is more suited to us and Jose's style .

I think he will win the PL with us, but possibly not the CL.

Biggish, I would disagree,I think that over the next 3 years,we will win either or both,hopefully more than once .

Not sure it will be this season, but I have a feeling Mourinho will have an extraordinary season where we win the treble. Expect it'll be 2015/16 or 2016/17 though

on the subject of Mata...who thinks he'll be back to his best this term..?

Every chance i'd say...(not a Fabregas fan personally) but i'll support him

Just been tweaking my four teams in different comps...aint got mata in any...this might be an error..in fact I haven't got much from utd at all
