First game? Probably Konchesky. But I think Schlupp will get his go soon enough.

It might work, but I can see why people have concerns at left back.

If you are starting a PL game with Koncheskey, I would be very worried! He is ok in The Championship but not the PL.

As far as LB, konchesky for me on Sat purely for experience

I worry a hell of a lot about Konchesky and De Laet in the premier league.

With Konchesky, positioning in the box = Good; seeing a player run at him = Bad. Schlupp's more the other way around. I'd rather start with Konchesky though, Schlupp's inexperience against the clubs we start against could damage his whole season.

As for De Laet, I think you know Mersey that we disagree on him. This season will be an interesting test for him though as he didn't do so well last time he was here.

Konchesky, having to pass the ball to a team mate without giving it to the opposition = bad.
