I know its the rumour mill, but what do you reckon straight swap for Miereles,
hes young very quick, imo would be great with Suarez,hopefully we would
see ball played to feet instead of over the top to Carroll all the time,the last 20 mins of the Arsenal game we looked good with Miereles & Suarez running at the gooners,& for me Miereles does not look happy here anyhow.

Sturridge and 10 million perhaps, but I wouldn't take. I think we need Meireles this season.

Meireles looked quite happy to me when he was celebrating the goal. I believe he had a knock pre-season? Kenny seems to be easing him back in, so maybe we shouldn't be reading too much into him not starting games at the moment. I, for one, get a bit fed up of us rushing players back from injury, only for them to break down again soon after. Maybe Kenny thinks the same?

I would personally take the swap myself.Yes the both of them are quality but the main thing is look at the age difference.

Sturridge has shown he can score goals in the prem and looks quite good.

However I would be happy for Meireles to stay of course.

Keep Raul, he looks great with his new hair-do. We need more hair-dos like that, if we're going to mount a campaign.

You can hold on to him. He is a very good player Meireles but I wouldn't want to loose Sturridge for him.

I think it would be in both side's interests to hang on to each player themselves
