Well less than a week into the new season and mark robins has spat his dummy out and walked out on us,to the loud cheers from the huddersfield public

Poor tactics and playing the lads out of position including trying to turn a winger into a center forward has really not helped his cause
I think the signing of nakhi wells was the start of his downfall with jv getting injured and then his reluctance to play jon stead alongside him that would have given the lad much needed support up front and goalscoring opportunities which he thrived on at bradford

Possesion has never won games and this alarming trend of managers wanting to over complicate a simple game baffles me!
Last season all 3 promoted teams played a simple 4 4 2 formation,with burnley especially playing at high tempo and using the wings and getting plenty of crosses in for the ings and vokes to clean up.....simples!

Cue tuesday night...lillis goes with a 4 4 2 formation...plays big steady up front with wells and we are rewarded with 5 goals
we still look a bit dodgy at the back..but i,m sure we will tighten up in the next few weeks

Saturday we have new midfielder jacob butterfield to choose from and if he still has the motivation will be a good addition to the squad....him plus 1.5m for clayts is good business for the club

So 4 4 2 again for me this saturday will give us a fighting chance of taking something from the game
