Per= No, Kos= Yes

Koscielny took part in training today, whereas our BFG was not involved at all.

Not ideal though. I'd rather not play Laurent, because I think a week off will give him enough time to get over the injury. As it is though, we have minimal centre back options. Chambers/Miquel/Hayden would be suicide in Turkey, and Monreal would be no better really.

Here's hoping to a new centre back arriving soon!

Guess Merte will be on the bench tomorrow - read that he flew out with the squad - and hopefully ready to start on Saturday.

That article is bs becauseit says the Germans are still on leave when they clearly joined training last week

A new signing would not be able to play in the CL qualifiers anyway.

Hopefully we can do what we did a year ago, get the job done in Turkey and can rotate a bit in the second leg. Would be nice to get Özil and Per on the pitch in a low pressure game.

I hate these qualifiers. I know over 2 legs we should do it, but they make me more nervous than maybe I should be.

I noticed that. Strange because newsnow have about 4 articles saying Mert is playing and 4 saying Kos is training....

Absolutely. I fúcking hate these games more than any other in the season I think. So much to lose, and the gain is essentially just what has been the status quo for the last 18 years.

And the weird thing about this year is that we are in a much more positive position than in previous Summers, which in a way makes me more nervous!
