The thing is, there are definitely people that will have inside info about a transfer before it happened. Too many would have to be involved, from a financial and legal side, for it to be kept really secret.

However, these people are either in highly paid jobs with the condition it's kept quiet, or they are slyly laying money on it at the bookies.

What they certainly won't be doing is sitting on Twitter sending 200 tweets a day letting people know what's going on.

True. I can't imagine during the Ozil negotiations Gazidis was snapchatting Geoff, who was then tweeting what was going on.

i'd definitely take Cavani, we saw what Ozils signing did to the club it would take us to that next level, supporters would be happy but most importantly the players would know they have a potential wc forward upfront.
