Very true, Milan are god-awful these days.

He could give us a boost in the early stages of the season when I expect him to do well, because he does have talent.

Further down the line he may create problems on and off the pitch. The question is when will this happen and how will the manager deal with it?

It's my opinion that eventually this will end in tears. The smart thing about it is the price. Balotelli's price isn't really going to depreciate that much given his age and natural ability if he fails with us.

Suarez was worse and it did not end in tears with him. He left us back in the reckoning. If Balo can take us further then it might not be a smooth ride but we will be happy when he leaves just like Suarez. Bookmark.

Going to throw it out there that I'm not happy about this signing on reflection.

Rodgers always signs players and states that they look for the right personality in each player they sign. They have to fit the profile and there's a reason for that - to try and build a harmonised and hungry squad.

I just can't see how Balotelli will fit into the club in any way whatsoever. Every goal we score is met with full team celebrations - there's just a feel of togetherness about the club that's making us greater than a sum of our parts and I really feel this signing can go a long way to damaging that.
