First games out of the way and on the TV tomorrow
Whatever people say a win at Stoke is a good start, but looking at the Geordies last week, they will present some real problems, especially for our defence to deal with.
Can we start regularly winning at home???
We have options for once and what side will we see?
Good news today that it won't be long before Benteke is back
Can't wait for weekend 20/20 finals as well. You Bears
Thoughts?

Westwood's technical ability is without question and I like the way he plays. He can pluck a ball out of the air with his feet with minimal effort. My gripe with him is that he seems casual and is not as competitive as Sanchez and Delph, who offer us more defensively and in my opinion offensively (see Sanchez's ball just after he came on yesterday). Westwood is good at playing the simple ball and retaining possession but Villa are not a possession team and play best when breaking up the play and using the width and pace of the team. We should be playing 4-2-3-1 at home and the two central players should be Sanchez and Delph as they are both better than Westwood. In away games, especially difficult ones, I would be tempted to play Westwood then in a 3-man midfield with Sanchez and Delph.
Rumours that Lerner might help Lambert fund a new creative midfielder and a winger. I hope it's true. If we could get someone like Adam Johnson on the wing it would give us a spark which we are missing. Am absolutely gutted we missed out on Siggurddson as he would have given us goals and assists from midfield. We do massively need a creative attacking midfielder and a good winger. Unfortunately, Gabby and Andy are too hit and miss and need competition because they are not good enough to play every week if we want to finish top half. I hope we can find the two quality players we need.

If sufficient funds are available, which wont cover this, a creative midfielder, and a player we missed out on previously.... Jordan Rhodes
