Winston Reid for £8mil

Haven't really seen a great deal of him, but from what I've seen, he's very athletic and reads the game well, which I think is important since Koscielny is currently the only CB we have that has the pace and anticipation to effectively cover his CB partner.

Skimming through the West Ham forums (not ja606), they seem to rate him as one of the best CBs in the league and most seem very disappointed that they might be losing him.

alderweireld from atletico is available 6m & zapata from ac milan around the same figure perhaps a mil or two more.

Would definitely prefer to get a prem defender

Would rather go for Ashley Williams. For the same reasons but left footed and home grown too

We always get linked with PL defenders as back ups but never sign them. Good player though
