De Jong if we had to choose. I hope we get a top draw CB, however that is unlikely.

Happy with De Jong.... Didn't rate Blind that highly, but only seen him in the WC.

Wouldn't mind either tbh but we are really missing someone of De Jong's ilk. Many City fans felt he shouldn't have been sold.

De Jong is a thug and a City reject, I'd much rather we sign Blind

After watching those two today this really shouldn't be up for debate

Both would improve us.

The good thing with both these players is that LVG is probably better suited than any manager in the world to know if they are good enough having manged both very recently.

I've seen Meltonblue, a very intelligent poster, state on here that they shouldn't have got rid of De Jong and he was a very underrated player for them. My uncle and his two brats support the filth too and he reckons it was a big mistake to let him go too.

For his superior tactical awareness and technical attributes, I'd go with Blind. Blind has been judged here as a LB, he's a better CM.

I think ANY midfielder would be better than Fletcher or Cleverly or Fellaini.
