Disappointing lack of new blood....

Although I'm a fan of MON and his work over the years I have to say I'm somewhat bemused at the complete lack of new players on the scene???
Whilst I acknowledge the decline of the England team may have players thinking an English cap is more attainable, its still very surprising that some of these younger guys haven't been brought through.

Its utterly demoralising to see old Trap donkeys like Cox and Sammon, two lads who have absolutely no business playing international football, being called into the squad. Where is the progress integrating any new blood? At the time of appointment 9 months ago a whole host of players were being touted, much needed additional competition but seems nothing has moved on with the likes of:

Alex McCarthy
Patrick Bamford
Jack Grealish
Will Buckley
Harry Kane
Kyle Naughton
Nathan Redmond
Callum McManaman

I'm not even contemplating guys like Noble and Curtis Davies who have distanced themselves which is fair enough but surely we should have made some inroads with two or three of them by now!!!
