Hello
This is the new La Liga thread for the coming season
A very interesting season lies ahead as many expect it to be, as last season a 3 horse race.
All 3 contenders have made major changes to their squads...so nothing can be taken for granted
Valencia after a few years in the doldrums could well be back up and running by the end of this season as a major player again in Spanish football, if the new owner clears their debt and injects cash into the squad
Depor are back in the top flight (Kenty will be happy ), along with Cordoba (their early season home league matches should be interesting as Cordoba is in summer the hottest city in Europe!) after a very long absence from the top flight, and tiny Eibar, possibly the smallest club ever to play in La Liga .
Enjoy the season folks

Peks time to update the article to give us a preview of this season?

I wonder how long it would take for myself, Darren, peks and IOAG to agree a deal for De Gea?

Damn Madrid have signed Vallejo from Zaragoza. A great great prospect. Was hoping we got him but too bad he isn't a Mendes client

It'd take ages, AU, because I'd tell ioag and peks to bûgger off.

It seems Soldado will be signing for us next week. I'm going to try and remain positive about it. Whilst he had a good record the last time he was in La Liga with Valencia, he has had such a demoralising time at Tottenahm that there's no idea what state he will be in!
I'd have preferred for us to sign someone younger and ideally quicker.
Should never have sold Dos Santos, especially when we were losing Vietto.

Looking forward to seeing how Sevilla take the step up to the CL.
