This is a serious question. Because i bet 10 years ago no Gunner would had believed Arsenal would not had won the title within the next 10 years
Frankly I cant see Utd winning the title until say 2030.
Guys get your body ready for the long and lonely ride
Can UTD win the EPL within the next 10yrs?

10 years is a long time, with good investment and patience in the manager they can certainly challenge for the league. You cant use Arsenal as an excuse as Wenger simply refused to invest in the squad.
At the moment the biggest problem you have at your club is lack of CONFIDENCE. It is almost non existant. Once you concede a goal it is almost inevitable that you will lose the game.
If Sunderland had scored first you may well have lost on Sunday.I know people like throwing around that phrase about how you have lost your fear factor but in this case its true.
At the moment smaller teams give more respect to Chelsea, City and other top teams. When they face united they have a go and leave with the Win.
To regain confidence the club must be behind the manager.LVG has made a catastrophic error by trying to implement the 3-5-2.Nothing wrong with the formation but too many arm chair critics think its rubbish because it is foreign to them so when it doesnt work they make LVG look like a fool.
For LVG to go back will make him look even more foolish. He is in a difficult position at the moment.

Next season they'll be challenging again.

Tonight's result aside, once everyone's fit and the window closes , our first team will look a lot different to the one currently being employed, wait till then before making daft articles

United need another two or three players at least this window on top of Di Maria to have a hope of top 4 this season.
Vidal, Blind or De Jong and a central defender that is a tough no nonsense type that can actually defend would be nice.

Are you going to play the same XI in every game of the season then? All the top clubs have massive squads, and whilst United still have some useful players, the depth of their squad is woeful as shown tonight. Very few prem clubs, if any, ever get beaten 4-0 by a Division 1 club, whatever team they field.

They're not really comparable to Arsenal. United, even now, still have immense financial resources. All they need is the right manager to bring it all together.
Arsenal have struggled for almost a decade because they weren't competing for the best players in the tranfer market. There was a period we had by far the lowest net spend in the entire league because we kept selling players.

We sold our best players ever year to fund the stadium but still kept in the cl. Saying that, 10 years is a long time.
You guys have what, spent over £200M since fergie left. No excuses

See what happens when Wenger goes, you'll be crap like us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They're already crap, they haven't won league in over a decade and they won't win it any time soon. Money doesn't equal instant success. City spent £430m before their first league title. Chelsea seem to spend around £100m every season and yet still have only 1 league title in 9 years

You've got to remember where we started from, we had to build effectively two separate teams - one to get us into the CL and then one to win the title.

No but I suspect there will be 3-5 players whove not played yet who'll start most games when fit/signed, also some of those out there tonight will probably not kick a ball for the first team again
