Really should have been your choice in manager once Fergie decided to call it a day.
You didnt need the nostalgia in David Moye nor do you need a philosophy and all that other rubbish.. You needed someone with an ego a presence and a mindset to succeed under pressure right away.
I find after every interview LVG is throwing in excuses in an attempt to protect himself.
This could get a lot worse before it gets better.

Utd fans desperate for a manager they've been slagging off for years. Fair play, some of you are fickle indeed.

whoever slated him is a monkey, he's been the best manager going alongside Ferguson for the last 10 years.

It doesn't matter we are where we are . Mourinho is a great manager always has been but he manages another club.
We have LVG. A man who has won the CL and league championships in Holland (with 2 clubs), Spain and Germany. He also won the UEFA Cup and took an unfancied Dutch side to the brink of the World Cup Final. We need to get behind him and stop wondering about what might have been with other managers. Van Gaal has the pedigree to succeed at United no question about that in my mind.

He must now. we have spent an awful lot of money. Chance of our deal wit adidas being slashed.

Let's just calm down a bit and see what the rest of the transfer window brings.
Two or three more astute signings (CM and defenders) on top of Di Maria and the starting 11 from the last league game could be totally transformed for the better. If the likes of Vidal, De Jong and Blind come in this will be the best transfer window in United's history (big if i know but after signing Di Maria anything is possible looks like those journalists who all said we had £200m to spend this summer may well have been right all along).
I'm confident after the next two transfer windows a lot of the dross that currently infests our squad will be gone and replaced by far better, hungrier players who have character unlike a lot of the so called players currently representing the club.

Me C is right though. Most of you on here are fickle.
Pathetic is probably a better word.

From his interview just after the game, think that's it in regards to signings.

What did he say after the game Scholay? Didn't see or hear his interview.

As an outsider looking in, LVG did not get off his a rse tonight to encourage your team, which was composed manly of fringe players. These players surely need some encouragement, and see some emotion from their manager.
