I was expecting more. This is brilliant news and means that I don't have to shift any top players to accommodate him, except Mata (unfortunately).
With an interesting mix of the fixtures this weekend, I couldn't find a better captain. If Aguero starts, then of course he is the clear choice, but it's a risk.
What do you think of the team? Is there a better captain to pick this weekend than Di Maria? (I know it's a risk, but they are all risks this weekend). I had Costa the last 2 weeks, but he can't score in every game surely!

Di Maria only 9.5 value on the FF website

I see. Silva is 9 as well.
Would be wary of putting Di Maria in straight away instead of one of those considering he's more expensive and not playing in a settled side.

Oh boy, I totally forgot about Silva. They're playing Stoke at home, as well.
I've got my wildcard and gone for:
OUT: Sigurrdson, Diego Costa, Terry
IN: Jovetic, Silva, Dier
Midfield would be Silva, Di Maria, Ramsey, Fabregas, elmohamedy
Up front: Aguero, Jovetic, Naismith
Not clicked confirm yet! This is bloody tough.

I just can't bring myself to take out Di maria, considering if some of my players drop points, I might not be able to buy him back without a massive shuffle.
Also can't understand why Mata has dropped down to 8.9 and silva is still on 9 even though they have the same amount of points

Because Silva is playing for a good team and Mata isn't.

Not sure how it works. Silva is always worth putting in because he often gets bonus points even if he doesn't score or assist.

Shouldn't really effect his individual value.
Go on then, Jovetic or Giroud this weekend?

Giroud is out for the rest of the year. My front 3 is Aguero, Rooney and Adebayor.
