All football supporters have their own opinions on who are the 'biggest' club/s in England - sometimes undeservedly including their own.
Based on their history, success, stadium, gates, supporters and playing squad now and then, who, in your opinion, are the top ten BIG clubs of England ?
My choice:
1) Manchester United
2) Liverpool
3) Chelsea
4) Arsenal
5) Manchester City
6) Tottenham
7) Everton
8). Nottingham Forest
9) Newcastle
10) ???????
Your BIG CLUB League ?
Biggest Clubs in England ?

Of courseI would loved to have included the Baggies in my list but in all honesty and realistically, although we've won a lot of FA & League Cups, its been many a year since we won the equivalent of the Premiership/1st Division title plus nothing in Europe.
Our supporters are a great bunch but at just under 30,000 not huge in numbers. Other than with The Dingles (Wolves) our club is liked by most footy supporters unlike some I could mention !

Well spurs are 5th highest trophy winners, massive fan base, constant European football, never been out the Prem, known all over the world!

Oh ok....i just thought only ever winning 2 league titles and no European Cups in over 130yrs wouldnt be enough.
But your 2 pre-1920 FA Cups & 3 shared Charity Shields boosting your trophy count probably warrant you a place...

2 league 8 Fa cup 4 LC 3 Uefa cups
Are you upset no one thinks Leeds are a big club?

no, i wouldnt put Leeds in. We've not won enough trophies, and we are a terrible team at the moment, crowds at home dont go above maybe 27,000 on a good day. We have a great away following but i wouldnt say that was enough.
But you've only won 2 LC's & an FA Cup in 30 years, a trophy every 10yrs?
And only ever 2 League titles in 130 years of being a football club? Both over 50 years ago?
Even we won it in '92

Yes your right but it still doesn't change the fact what we won 20/30/40 years ago does it?
Plus the criteria is also global fan base, current team, past team etc etc
We could go and say well arsenal only won 1 cup in ten years of Everton nothing for 20 years etc

Everton ahead of Spurs for me - massive club who were an excellent side back in the 80s.
