Andrew Neville, 104.9 FM, 6PM

Should be quite interesting, apparently he's going come out with who we're trying to sign and all sorts, that's if we ask the right questions.

Not just your average moan in.

Agreed, the last time Sven was on the phone in, he was confirming all sorts of rumors about the strikers he wanted to sign, and we haven't signed any of them!

you are right, I rang up to complain about Barnsley's pricing policy, but he refused to discuss it

View of Kasper's throw out for the 'red card', for anyone interested.

PS - Keep your eye on the ref (to the right of the screen) from 0.00 right at the beginning. He is already running over with intent to Kasper before he even throws the ball.

Good spot Ktf - I reckon KS must have pi**ed the ref off with whatever he said during his protest following the award of the penalty prior to his first yellow card and the referee has a premeditated agenda with KS after that.

Anything interesting then?

Kasper knew he had recieved the first yellow,I and alot of others were in earshot to hear the ref tell him he was receiving the card as Kasper was walking away in a huff and mouthing profanities to himself,he was also well aware of the crowds reaction to him recieving the card.

From a distance(pretty short distance) the Mills handball did look intentional,I thought that he scooped the ball underneath his body with his hand but on watching the close up highlights I now believe it was unintentional.

Can understand how the ref got it wrong though

Fact is Kasper knew he had recieved the first yellow, ref was right in his face to tell him but he quickly turned around and stormed off in a huff, even then the ref was still shouting out to him.

Fact is Kasper tried to throw the ball out into the crowd but it was a poor effort.

Certainly an 'interesting' view on what a 'fact' is.

Anyway, I probably shouldn't have digressed on this thread about it.

Was I the only one quite disappointed by Neville's contribution? At first I thought he was being coy with regard to some of the transfers. But after a while, I got the distinct impression that he actually didn't really know that much about some of them i.e. Naughton.

I have the feeling that he is very much there to oil the final cogs of a deal, and up until the stage of sorting and finalising the paper work has very little, or much less influence/contribution to transfers than was certainly suggested in more than one article in the Mercury.
