Rotherham - Disgrace

What a total and utter shambles.

from the perpetrators (animals) themselves, to the council members who tried to cover it, to the PC brigade...........and it was the kids who suffered in the end.

Makes my blood boil.

Also want to add. STOP using the term "Asians"

List of countries in Asia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_sovereign_states_and_dependent_territories_in_Asia

May as well just say "Earthlings"

be more specific

Muslim, more than any other religion, places a massive emphasis on religion as to how people live their lives.
========================================================
Yes, and you think that this influenced the crime, so you're not doing a very good job of "trying to draw it away from stereotyping"

Listen lads, I'm offski for the weekend. Thanks for debating properly, and not resorting to the playground stuff.

In my first post on this thread, I said I wasn't going to get drawn into it, because people will stick to their instincts, regardless of any kind of rational evidence (psychologists are pretty unanimous on this now, there's a large amount of evidence of it).

So I didn't make a very good job of staying out of it, and here I am, still arguing, and nobody's changed their mind one bit, including me.

The other thing they tell us is that our instincts are a very unreliable guide (and, in fact, more often wrong than right. They even tell us why this is). Unless there is hard evidence that people influenced by a Muslim education are more likely to commit this kind of crime, it's basically a guess.

Another guess is that the majority of Muslims will disapprove of this crime as much as anybody else does, which would tend to suggest (if true) that this education only has this effect on a minority, if it has this effect at all.

But it's all guessing.
You drew me into the debate, and it was a good debate, but the weekend starts here. Have a good one, and may your religion go with you (even if it's an atheistic one, like mine).

So basically, we're all wrong

Actually, there are plenty of white Muslims in the Balkans, where trafficking is rife....
==========================================================
There you go then.
It's not specific to any race, skin-colour or religion.
That's my point

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think we're kind of in agreement hereit's of my points were more relevant to earlier posters.....

Basically my point is that no one crime is specific to one religion etc, but when a crime involves only people from a particular background and all those people are from the same town, then there must be an issue with the way they're brought up in that area...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When a crime goes unpunished for years and the perpetrators make serious money out of it then it's going to expand. This is a typical small town situation where parents are on benefits or low income. Kids without education are looking to make money and the best option is illegally.

Poor upbringing leads to crime in all races for the majority. These criminals don't care about religion, what there parents think. It's all about street cred and making money. Bottom line the authorities have let the girls down. This could have been cleaned up years ago.

The heritage of a person does not answer for that persons crimes.

This is something these people wanted to do, there's no religious or other justification for it.

These are simply bad people, who were allowed to progress with these crimes for far too long.

Who knows which pockets were lined in order for this to continue.

The fact the police and council feared being labelled racist,as the bad guys were Pakistani, and the victim's,vulnerable English girls,is at the centre of this Rotherham disgrace.

As it happens in other towns, with the same people abusing, and being abused, there is an issue where Pakistani Muslim men regard English girls as less than equal,to say the least.

If it was the other way around, racism would be shouted by those who now deflect.

Of course grooming is not a Pakistani muslim issue alone, but these cases were allowed to go on,because some thought it racist to identify the guilty party.

That is so wrong, and the police and council and social workers must hang their sad PC cowardly heads in shame.

Police send multiple cars and officers to Cliff Richards house, turn it over and remove what's believed to be evidence,he's not been charged with any crime, all on the sayso of some anonymous individual.one needs to ask the question why are not the police arresting individuals in Rotherham the evidence is there.

groovy

The police were accused of institutional racism, and now they are terrified of being seen as racist, even when they know Pakistani gangs are at it.
Same applies to the social workers who let young girls down, because they wanted to be seen as PC,protecting community cohesion,at the expense of justice.

We all know abuse is colour blind, but sometimes society is afraid to tackle difficult issues. That is why the Irish and worldwide RC church got away with abuse, and why politicians in power at Westminister get away with it.

Wee question.

Why did the Pakistani gangs target white English girls, and not other girls?

Were the white guys who killed Stephen Lawrence just bad and violent,or was it a racial thing?

Funny how we label somethings as plain old racism, and other issues as "social"
or "human nature".

I will make it easy.If a white guy is involved opt for racism, but if it is a non white it is due to badness in our midst, social engineering, the parents fault, police and social worker failings.

My girlfriend is from Rotherham. Been there a few times and its a bleak place. There's huge tensions between white, Asian and eastern European communities. BNP and UKIP on the rise. It's only a matter of time before something serious kicks off

more then likely, you see Asians in asda buying booze for under age girls, (grooming?) make me sick !

Mam

How could Pakistani gangs sit in cars outside schools, waiting for young girls, without the law coming down on them?

What sort of society have we created.

Same cops, chasing us for doing 33 in a 30 mph zone.

The same thing happens close by in Stockport but it tends to be white individual buying drinks for girls.
