Striker

What are the chances of landing Hulk, he is surely a bit cold and tired of all the racism in Russia by now..... given his mediocre performance at the WC and his age we could get him in for a reasonable fee?

Apparently Campbell's agent is in Lisbon to discuss a move to Benfica. Does this mean we are getting a striker?

So do I, but he plays for Sporting.

I like when people call Hulk, "overrated" despite the fact everyone seems to believe he's crap. Who then is overrating him? If anything, I think he's ridiculously underrated. A pacy, wide player who can give you 15+ goals every season and score from nothing is a massive asset.

Who is this Cerci? Is it kallstrom all over again?

He is overrated because Zenit spent like £40M to get him.

I'd rather get someone like Remy then Hulk, we still need another centre back and possibly holding midfielder too but I think holding midfielder is very unlikely but a striker and centre half is a must,

dont think Hulk will leave cup tied.

he's a winger/forward someone we dont need at the club atm, we need a actual CF.

We have no shortage of pacy widemen. What we're lacking is an out and out proven goalscorer.

However, I'm wondering if Arsene is banking on Walcott's return from injury to provide that option. The plan was always to move him into the centre and with Ozil and Alexis providing the service he could well thrive.

It's a huge risk, considering the length of time he's been out and the nature of the injury, let alone the chance of picking up a secondary injury during his return.
