352 Problems

Biggest problems with 352:

1. Defenders spread too thin, Evans/Blackett getting caught out and letting wingers get in behind. Even the most average wingers have enough room to operate.

2. Premier league teams press too much for CBs to have time to distribute properly. Too many times today we say Evans or Blackett get rushed into bombing a pass down field rather than being able to play passes directly out to fullbacks or across the backline to find room.

3. CM's not mobile enough. Fletcher and Anderson didn't even look for space or try to provide an outlet for any CB's today ever. Not even one time. Hopefully with Herrera back and the addition of Blind, this will be solved.

4.Too much reliance on wingbacks, which are more or less carp. Nothing else needs to be said.

5. Trident up top is too slow, I feel most can agree here.

It doesn't help that LVG insists on sitting the whole game, and not barking orders. The team looks clueless and he's giving them nothing.

Wow, what a drama queen you are OP. I know you have problems but to say you have 352 problems like you have in the title is just blowing things out of proportion! Calm down.

They are merely problems associated with playing 352 and our squad. Whats so blown out of proportion about any of it?

The problem is not the system but the lack of quality in your squad. You can't play any system at the moment.

The other problem is square pegs ... Mata - he plays behind the strikers. Full backs are not always wing backs and central midfielders cannot play wide.

Systems that work in Spain or Holland don't necessarily work in England.

It was a lame attempt at a joke. Read it like literally you have over 300 problems.

How can we play a 4 man defence with both our full backs out, our LB cover ineligible to play and one if our CBs that cover RB out?

I think you've over complicated it OP.

The players don't know what they're supposed to be doing. Valencia - for all his rubbish crosses - logged at home when he was told to push on and attack the FB.. the CBs don't look sure at all, the midfield doesn't seem to know where each other are, it's all a mess.

I think you'd be better 4411 or something standard that they can all play with their eyes closed.

The PL is unforgiving - rarely can you get away with playing someone out of their natural position, let alone half the team.

It doesn't really matter about 442 or 352 or whatever.

If you haven't got the tools to do the job then it becomes academic.

Besides, until Smalling and Jones are given the opportunity to do what SAF intended them to do (and be) then it is too early to talk about strategies, line-up etc.,

Just how many times have Jones and Smalling lined up in their correct positions together since their arrival?

There you go.

There are many problems currently at the club and it is not the ones being rehashed on these boards. It isn't going to be long before somebody, with a piece of paper wide enough, is going to suggest on these boards a line-up that looks like this:

Coco

Valencia/Carrick/Rooney/Fletcher/Anderson/Fellaini/Mata/Herrera/Di Maria

Wellbeck
