If we bring in Blind, I think we could challenge for the title, but top 4 is a must.

Surprised Arsenal weren't in for him. Supposed £6m fee shouldn't be a problem. Wages perhaps? Although Monaco are subsidising them.

I don't know why we didn't go all out for him,a bit gutted about that, but this is way football goes sometimes.

Expectations are too high for some of you, basically due to not understanding how football works.

There is too much going on to expect anything other than a challenge for top four.

If you lot came 7th again this season, after spending all this money, would you want LVG out at the end of the season?

If everything was equal, and he was judged like Moyes, then yes. But no, I don't think he would be out of the door, nor would I want him to be.

its going to take a while for this new team to gell with soooo many new additions especially in an unfamiliar system.

Think the most we should expect is top 4 this time.. but it all bodes well for the next season and beyond for LVG

Our squad is even more unbalanced then it was previously

If we bring in Falcao and Welbeck and Hernandez leave, how is our squad more imbalanced towards attacking players as a result? Especially if it is true that RVP will be out following a knee operation.

Also it's hard to judge the need for reinforcements in midfield and defence when we haven't seen Rojo, Shaw or Blind yet and barely any of Herrera. And we don't know where ADM will be deployed. And players are still learning new tactics.

Still top 4
