united fan in peace, who'd rather not see him at city
do you lot think wenger/your board will pick him for weds?
pick him - he's cup tied, deal with city falls through, he leaves for free next summer costing you 20-30m in transfer fee. but...if he scores the goal that gets you in the CL, signing replacements for him becomes much easier.
don't pick him - he's not cup tied and can be sold to city but you could risk crashing out the CL which would cost 20m anyway.
i'd pick him - you've got jan to sell him and a whole year to pursuade him into a new contract (or a whole year in the reserves to teach him some humility).
play nasri?

if fit,if on the plane,if head right ( unlike modric ) he'll play.....

We can use him how we want, I personally would leave him on the bench.

i think naming him on the bench still cup ties him btw...not sure though, anyone know better?

i would sell him, just because i reckon there is next to no chance he will sign a contract when he can triple his wages at city.

if he's on the bench he's not cup tied.

I personally don't care if he is cup-tied, it is not our problem. Put him on the bench in case of an emergency.

phil jones - oshea's spiritual successor (U10004)
its funny isnt it how Big Headed City have become now they have a Sugar Daddy, because it was not so long ago they were fighting Relagation, i wonder if all those good players they have bought would have give them a second Glance including Big Teeth a couple of years ago,and its the same with the Chavs,Football is a Funny old Game

i hope he plays, just to see the smug sneer disappear from mankini's face.
in all seriousness, he is still our player and we should use him how we wish. playing him could lead to two possible scenarios: one, playing him puts the mercs off the scent, his presence on the pitch offers us the creativity that arshavin and ramsey haven't provided thus far, and he helps us qualify, meaning that we'll have champions' league football to offer new recruits, which could in turn persuade nasri to perform a u-turn.
or alternatively, he plays, reluctantly, because he thinks his big-money move is being jeopardised, his influence is minimal, we crash out, nobody wants to join us and he spends the season 'nursing an injury' while waiting for his contract to run out.

"he spends the season 'nursing an injury' while waiting for his contract to run out."
And is absolutely crap by next summer, meaning he has to wait for an offer from West Brom.

i think if he won't be cup tied, bench him. if losing, throw him on.
could lead to the farce of him refusing to take the field though!
i'd love a camera on mankini and the arab's faces though if he was subbed on...

I would play him just to irritate Man City.
@ Phil Jones, if he is named as a sub and doesn't play then he can play if City sign him.
A new rule this season states that even if he does play on Wednesday but we fail to qualify then he CAN still play for City, if we win though and go through then he will be cup tied.
If Nasri wants to go then fine, but it must be on the clubs terms, play him Wenger!!!!!
