Right all you kants sat up still with your transfer day deadline bullocks.

I'm sat up getting pashed and saw Murray got through to the last 8 at the US Open and my question is this:- Has there been a greater sportsman from Scotland and even the UK than Andy Murray?

This is a guy who plays and individual sport where if you come 4th on the planet you are a loser. To win, as he has done US Open, Olympics and Wimbledon you need to be the greatest single person in the world at it.

I played tennis for Yorkshire juniors as a kid, so I know how hard it is.

Arise Sir Andy in my book.

Was that not the Moscow games when all the Yanks (and effectively the top black sprinters of the day) boycotted it?

Still, fasted guy on the planet was Scottish

yeah it was the boycott olympics so doesnt really count but i doubt he cares

I only heard about Alan Wells last year. Thought it was a windup when I was told that a white Scottish guy was the worlds fastest man.

Wells also won the world championships with no boycott if I understand it.
