A Sorry Doris

Lads Doris has issued an apology this morning.

Yesterday with Phil Gartside going home early after a heavy lunch. Doris took advantage of the office being available for cleaning early.
Unplugging the fax and plugging in her hoover. She does a lovely job leaving the office sparkling despite the noise of something sounding like a Lita in the stationary cupboard.
Just as she was stood in the corridor doorway admiring her work Boggers was heard to curse after the crashing off tea cups onto the stairs. OMG he's dropped the best china and an accident awaits on the stairs with sweet herbal tea being rather slippery stuff.

Doris locks up and dashes off to mop up and carry on with her day. A pat on the head to Adam he's her little favourite you know as her grandson is also called Adam.

Little was she or any other member of staff who looked in to see if we had a fax come in as the transfer clocked ticked down. Doris had forgotten to plug the fax back in when leaving in such haste.

Chin up lads at least we have not overstretched ourselves this transfer window and we can pay the wages for another month.

Doris is very sorry this morning and assures us it won't happen again if we chip in and buy her a rechargeable hoover she has seen on the shopping channel. Phil is now watching the shopping channel on the off chance of some late bargain coming up to shut Doug up who is still smarting from the ruler slap yesterday and the withdrawal of spending money for not putting Macron logo's on Lens mobility scooter.
