... Arsenal & Man Utd concluded their deals for Wellbeck & Falcao at about 1am on Tuesday 2nd September which makes a mockery of the system as they have had all Summer to conclude deals.
I dare say the usual suspects will defend their Clubs saying that before 11pm last night they were showing enough intent to make the deals happen.
Now a few windows ago we ran out of time in signing Moutinho & Charlie Adam ( dodged the silver bullet ) however did we not show enough intent or is there one law for one and another for the rest of us ?
One Law For One.....

And what does "enough intent" mean? Surely these deals can still fall through otherwise they'd be done deals. So why the special case?

I am an Arsenal fan, and I agree... if you cannot get it done before 11pm on the last day, it should not happen after.
otherwise whats the point of a cut of time/date
