Firstly, i still think we didn't sign the two main targets we needed: commanding centre back and centre-mid. Our CM and CB were our biggest concerns going into the season, we have improved on those (though they are still are) but on the basis of impact, i see those two acquisitions ( and Herrera) as our most vital. Of course, if they flop, that is another matter but it further highlights my original point.

Coupled with the fact that they did not cost a king's ransom!

I totally agree about not getting those 2 main targets of a commanding CB and CM but like Mex said, we've done so much business this window hopefully by next season all the players will be fully embarrassing of the LVG philosophy and it will only require 1 or 2 players.

For me the player's fee is irrelevant, I just want them to be good. I think Blind is a good purchase in that he offers so much of what we lack; energy, mobility, leadership. I can see Rojo being a bit like Rafael, the fans will warm to his effort but he could be a bit of a liability and pick up a few bookings and the odd red.

Will be exciting whatever.

Can't quite believe what a fanatastic window we've had tbh, our squad now just needs tweaks next summer, rather than a massive overhaul
