Does anybody think that the breakdown of Evertons proposed move to Kirkby was all about pride?
I genuinely feel that the only reason the efc fans opposed this idea was because of the fact that it wasn't recognised as being in the city even though it was an opportunity to catapult Everton into the modern game with healthier profits.
Ultimately, this pride may mean that the club will suffer for decades.
As a red, you may not welcome my view or find it worthy but I've got some good blue mates and to be honest, they're split. One of my good friends Joel thinks that Everton had an opportunity to finally push on and enter a new era but it has come and gone.
Maybe Everton are secretly holding out for a shared stadium with Liverpool FC.
