Where are all the Ed Woodward haters now ?
Surely they can't be mad at Sir Ed after that masterclass.
It still feels surreal that we have got in two world class players in Di Maria and Falcao and I am nursing a fat one just thinking about them playing for us.
From signing Fellaini last Summer to getting Shaw, Herrera, Rojo, Di Maria, Blind & Falcao this window is like going from pulling Gemma Collins and her wetting your bed to having a three way with Mila Kunis & Michelle Keegan.
I'm sure most fans would've snapped their hands off if offered those players. We also did well shifting some of the deadwood so all in all, a very commendable Summer.
This brings me onto the big question, have we done the best business out of the big clubs in the PL this Summer? I'd say so.

Rojo is average. Falcoa has performed in a EL winning team but no CL.
Blind is nothing special at all.
You still won't get top 4 but if you get Falcao to stay at least he has EL pedigree.

Rojo is average. Falcoa has performed in a EL winning team but no CL.
Blind is nothing special at all.
You still won't get top 4 but if you get Falcao to stay at least he has EL pedigree.

Agreed. As great as Di Maria and falcao will be for us, I would have preferred a top CB, a CM and cover at RB.
Hard not to get excited about shaw, Herrera, Di Maria and falcao just be a shame if we set up with those and still end up passing each other into trouble at the back before pumping it long.

Agreed, he made mistakes last season which he admitted himself and all I and others have said is that he needs to improve and hopefully learn from his mistakes. He's done a lot better and I'm happy for him as the pressure must be intense but I don't get why people need to go over the top and claim he's been brilliant, I guess some people can only look at things black and white and he's either doing sh-t or incredible where like Melton said it's in the middle.
