FABREGAS, WELLBECK etc.
These players who will always be known as belonging to their former clubs have devalued the enjoyment of the game.
Who really jumped up with joy when Van Persie scored with his first touch against Arsenal?
Van Gaal and Falcao will come and go before you can say 'Shinji'!
But the real loss is elsewhere.
It may well go back beyond Sol Campbell to Denis Law but the reality is that the game has lost its tribal intensity and passion - and from that there is no return.
CASHLEY, TORRES, VAN PERSIE

Umm, yeah I agree, but thats not necesarily a bad thing.

Isn't it all part of the entertainment that players move to rival clubs?
I thought it was great when we bought RVP and enjoyed his goals against Arsenal like I would any other. Equally I'm sad to see Danny leave but wish him all the best at Arsenal.
Surely these moves are highlighted because of the tribal intensity you see at clubs, just look at the pigs head Barca fans threw at Figo, is that not passion and intensity?

I dont know if its lost its intensity. I do think we have an oversaturation of football in our lives. Minute by minute updates every single day on Twitter, Insta, FB, Rolling news channnels.. All a bit much isnt it? Kinda loses its appeal for me a little.

What will it take?
Mourinho wearing a United shirt and bowing to the Stretford End?
It's over.

Mr C has it just about right - it's the over saturation , and not just in footy but almost everything we do. I'm of an age when the walk to the newsagent with my old man on Saturday tea time for the nearest thing to live score updates were in the 'Football Pink' as we knew it round these parts. Although I'm still as intense about us now regardless.

When is a signing of such bad taste that you say no thanks?

All depends on the player.
I wouldn't want United to sign Glen Johnson for instance because he's utterly useless and for all intents and purposes a filthy scouser by association. However, I'd take Suarez in a heartbeat...
