Looking at the side that lost on Sunday, the extent of our decline is absolutely shocking. How many world class players in it? One, maybe - the goalkeeper.
The decline underlined by the fact lots of Spurs fans now think finishing 6th (or even 7th) would be just about OK this season.
How things have changed, many people thought we favorites for 4th place before the first season of Villas Boas.
This isn't a moan, it's merely stating facts.
If Levy is responsible for our rise he is also responsible for our decline.
The guy is mugging the fans off. What new stadium? It's a phantom project. Entire cities in China have been built in less time.
Well done "Darth Levy", and all the Spurs fans who cheered him on when he sacked our most successful manager and gutted all the best players from our team .

We know the answers to all of these (specifically why they have not been met) .

Surely the plan is apparent to see? Build a franchise globally, steadily expanding our income through world-wide recognition, then preparing an increased revenue through a brand new shiny stadium. Meanwhile slowly but steadily growing as a football team, until we can afford to match the wages of other clubs.
Admittedly we have under-performed on the pitch, but I have no reason to believe why, after giving Poch a few seasons, this cant change.

ridiculous that you're using the sale of Bale and Modric to Real as a stick to beat Levy with
you clearly don't have a realistic view of Spurs in the context of world football
if anything, Levy deserves credit for the fee he got on Bale. I also think he handled the Modric transfer well, refusing to sell to Chelsea before doubling his money on Modric a season later
that said, i think the negative aspects of Levy's tenure have been covered off well in the article, i agree with a lot of it

the problem i have with RC is he cannot find a good word to say about spurs.
we are talking about a club who is consistently now one of the best in the country, now consistently in europe, and a club which has ambition, undertaking big projects (new training ground, big promotion and advertising push in america, new stadium on the way), and one that has managed to claw itself out of mediocrity where we were for over a decade, through careful spending and gradual improvement, and yet still all RC is interested in is slating the guy who oversaw all of that.
