Glad to see the public turning their back on the money motivated FA. Only half the ground sold out tonight.
This tongue in cheek look at the current England set up raises some valid points.

Fair assessment on England?

I don't get the criticism the FA or the national team gets to be honest. Considering most of the money they generate goes back into the sport or to charity, there are far worse organisations to have a go at. In terms of the national team, they are the chosen best players in this country. If they aren't good enough, it is a reflection on the country more than it is them as individuals.
Club players I get the criticism, not national players though, it's nonsensical to me.

Well said Melton.
And the reason the games are at Wembley are to help pay off the huge cost of the stadium.
Tickets are available at £10 tonight. Might go down and take my GF. Introduce her to the exciting world of England friendlies.

Read in the paper that tickets were £10. The £30 ones were the family ones.

A midfield without lampard or Gerrard. That should get people excited right?

How can it now be the fault of the FA?
They appointed Hodgson. Now I'm no Liverpool fan but there's no escaping Sterling, Sturridge, Henderson and Gerard's great form and understanding. Hodgson has them in his team and they look like a group of average strangers.
On top of that all they're interested in is the commercial side of things. Flogging the England brand here there and everywhere.
The prime example of how an FA should act is the German FA. Total focus on grass roots football, young players and affordable ticket prices for fans.
It helps that they have control of the Bundesliga and don't allow foreign ownership.
Bottom line. The FA gave up the ownership of our game to the Premier League and that has destroyed National football for ever.

OP, is this some sort of ploy to get people to watch you on youtube? Judging by your past threads history... it is.
