Wilshere

If United had come in with a £25m bid for jack on deadline day,

AFC Fans, would you have liked Arsenal to say Yes

United fans would you be happy to have him at that price?

Yeah. I remember that too. Was cringworthy actually.

Yeah clearly a style thing. I do think Adebayor's style made you play better despite his rapey touches because you seemed to create more. Could be the same with Welbeck, though I doubt he'll ever get 30 goals a season.

Having said all this, do you think Wenger might just play Giroud anyway when he's fit again? I wouldn't actually be surprised.

Rapey touch is such an apt description.

Til this day I remember Cesc sliding a delicious through ball through. And Walcott and Adebarndoor were there. The African pushed past Walcott and sort of dragged the ball along in such and awful awkward way. I couldn't believe this guy was a footballer. He scored. But that didn't matter.

He came out with in thus interview a few years back. He was talking about not being able to walk as a kid. Then a ball came in the room and got up and chased like nothing was wrong. He claimed this proved he was made for football. I couldn't contain my laughter. I thought maybe his legs didn't recover. That's why he plays with handicapish panache.

You on about the goal vs Fenerbahce where Ade's 1st touch was so bad, Walcott had to jump over the ball to not get caught offside

Just watched it. The first touch is pretty good, it's the second where he kicks it at Walcott that is amazing.

No we've already got the Brazilian version.

I bet half the United fans on here were thinking this when they read the article. I was.

Wilshere would be an upgrade though...

Wilshere = A young Joey Barton.

Hyped but bang average. Will end up playing for a mid to lower end premiership team just like Barton.

People rated Wilshere because he is an Englishman with a style fitting of a Spaniard, not because he was talented.

The only similarity between Wilshere and a Spaniard is that both are partial to a nap at about three o'clock in the afternoon.
