I've been playing 352 for years with some very mediocre players who have served me well. Welbeck as the main striker wins every 50/50, and takes every ball in his stride. It's a shame to lose him just for fifa uses. Kagawa will also be missed. But i'm sure Falcao will be alright!
De Gea
Jones Rojo Shaw
Fellaini
Mata
Di Maria Rooney Januzaj
Falcao
RVP
Real life will probably be this or a permanent switch to 433:
De Gea
Jones Evans Rojo
Young Fletcher Blind
Herrera Di Maria
Rooney/Falcao RVP
I can see LVG dropping the extremely poor Rooney and keeping Fletcher on the team until Shaw (so Blind moves to DM) or Carrick come back. As long as Van Persie stays fit, he should be a first team player especially with this potentially being his last season before he actually gets old.

Fact is neither are in great form right now for varying reasons.

Rooney had a pre season to get fit and he seemed ready but has looked sluggish in all 3 fixtures so far. I am backing Van Persie to gain form much faster than Rooney.

That's only what I am implying
RVP has not been good for over a year. Rooney has been the better player in that time
Both have been poor this season
RVP because of fitness hopefully

Why?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Firstly, van gaal rates him higher than anyone. Furthermore, he's a great goalscorer and fantastic on the ball.

Do you mean in FIFA?

I think RVP's 'poor' season is being over exaggerated a little, he was injured for large parts which is why he started less than half the PL and CL games yet he still managed a goals to minute ratio of 1 ever 125min which is actually very impressive, add his performance against Olympiacos was arguably the best individual performance of any player last season and it really wasn't as bad as people claim.
Also his poor start this season is slightly understandable as he has had no pre season.

Rooney's form and RVP's lack of one last season is overstated. Rooney wasn't great after his contract extension, RVP was injured a lot.

So so... I tried a few games playing 3 at the back and really struggled, got dominated down the wings. I usually play 4-1-2-1-2 which I like for the overlapping out wide (it gives another option as I have Robben and Reus as wingers so both being inverted means that Alaba and Lahm are on their correct side for a cross). However, when I come up against a team who play 3 at the back I always switch to avoid being overrun in midfield.

Nah, 3-5-2 means you get the ball for 70% of the game. Go ultra attacking and select pressing.
As long as you can tackle and have quick wingers/ class forwards you're onto a winner.

Cheers Busby will give Ultra Attacking and Team Pressing a go with 3-5-2.
Wingers are Robben and Reus so no problems there
