If hes better than what weve got then fine but yep a striker should surely be priority

We did a head count in the summer and we had a lot of mid fielders 11 I think. The reality is mavies,vela always injured,trotter injured,kellett injured. Spearing/medo only room for one, pratley is rubbish. Leaves us with danns and the wingers. The 7 games we have played so far has shown the lack of quality in our midfield. We need better. Is garvan better than we have or just another pratley or trotter? I don't know. Also looks like we will also be signing Greg halford too probably to cover for the injuries to wheater and McNaughton. Let's hope a quality striker is brought in for our last loan.

If Garvan is a creative CM as Benny says he is as essential as a striker. With Mavies, Holden and Vela always injured we are left with midfielders who work hard but that is usually chasing the opposition. Whenever we do get the ball we can't do anything with it. This starves the front line. Yes a new striker would be good but without a better midfield they would have the same problems.

Agree 100%, Petrov. Can't wait for Mavies to show up forever.

finlay, is that ever going to happen? I somehow doubt it. The lad's a crock, we have to face up to that fact.
